And how does Claddagh Creative do it BEST?
There is a lot of noise out there about marketing in general.
Some good. Some bad. Some could be better. It can make it confusing to know which way to look. But don’t worry, we’ll try to tell you everything you need to know.
For us, we like to define Ethical Marketing a little like this:
“Ethical marketing isn’t about reinventing the marketing wheel. It’s about spinning it the right way. Taking those tried and tested marketing strategies and infusing them with a deep regard for people and the planet.”
- Margaret, Founder of Claddagh Creative
You don’t need to be a fully sustainable business (it’s actually kind of impossible) to start conveying the right message. It’s all about taking steps in the right direction, and most importantly, about being honest and authentic.
Ethical definition: Ethical comes from the Greek ethos "moral character" and describes a person or behaviour as right in the moral sense - truthful, fair, and honest.
This is what we embody as an agency. We want to work with businesses that their customers can trust. We want to go through life knowing we’re helping to do amazing things.
Just to be clear, if you’re introducing a semi-recycled fashion collection yet still sourcing your materials from sweatshops and burning your waste in the middle of the desert, then you’re not sustainable.
You’re not even trying to be sustainable.
You, my friend, are greenwashing. And you’re not in the right place.
However, if you’ve recently looked at your entire business model and have made many small yet mighty changes to get where you need to be…
Welcome!
We think you’re going to like it here. Get ready to craft engaging stories, foster a true community and get real results.
